The New Vantage Vue Brings Simplicity Home

One of the newest additions to Davis Instruments' line of weather stations is the new Vantage Vue weather station. The Vantage Vue still boasts the Davis Instrument's guarantee of reliability, accuracy, and ruggedness yet is a more affordable, easy to install station.
Similar to the Vantage Pro2 series, the Vantage Vue uses frequency-hopping spread spectrum radio technology that allows users to wirelessly send data up to 1,000 feet. The Vantage Vue provides up to date weather information from the outdoor integrated sensor suite to the indoor console every 2.5 seconds, so users will know the weather conditions before setting foot outside. The Weather Centure feature provides extensive information for all weather variables, such as the daily high and low temperatures, temperature changes by the hour, air pressure changes, and astronomical data such as the moon phase. Additional consoles are available for purchase and can be placed in a variety of places throughout your home.
With yet another innovative addition to the Vantage Vue weather station, an easy-to-read backlit LCD display with a glow-in-the-dark keypad makes reading weather data at night much easier. The console's built in sensors provide indoor temperature and humidity as well, along with barometric pressure measurements. The outdoor Integrated Sensor Suite is solar powered, providing energy during the day and tapping into stored energy for night usage. This is an ideal "green" product or gift for any home.
For long lasting durability, the Integrated Sensor Suite lectronics are sealed to protect from the elements or other damages. These precautionary features are cyclic corrosion tested to simulate harsh environments like heat, humidity, and seaside conditions. The Vantage Vue is also radio-compatible with the Vantage Pro2, owners of the Vantage Pro2 may purchase the Vantage Vue sensor suite or console to work with their already existing parts.
The Davis Instruments' Weatherlink weather software is also available for purchase to work with the Vantage Vue station, allowing users to transfer their weather data to a PC or Mac for additional analysis and graphing. With this innovative technology, you no longer have to worry about what to wear, or being caught unprepared in the face of inclement weather.
